FOUNDER: Simon Aldridge




2014 – Simon Aldridge becomes a member of the Vintage Sports Car Club of America, attends their race school, and gains his vintage racing license with the club.

2015 – Simon Aldridge becomes a regular contributer to Octane Magazine.

2016 – Simon’s first feature is published in Octane.

2017 – MOVECTO.COM registered as a domain. The name, inspired by the etymology of the word ‘Motorcar’, is a combination of the Latin words mobilis, meaning “movable” and vectoris, meaning “transports” – MO VECTO reflects founder Simon Aldridge’s desire to produce a destination to talk about collectible cars in an accessible and informed way that is comfortable for all levels of readers.
